134. P.P.Doctorjee took his lessons even from his adversaries:

Viceroy Lord Harding was scheduled to lead a grand parade into Delhi, in that year, in celebration of the shifting of India’s capital city from Kolkatta to Delhi. At the pompous show, suddenly, a freedom fighter exploded a bomb, which wounded the Viceroy and several soldiers. Instantly, the viceroy was taken to a first-aid carriage (horse-drawn), and the executive Secretary to the Viceroy occupied the place of honor. The parade continued, as if it was never interrupted.

P.P.Doctorjee was deeply impressed by this incident. Under the most difficult of circumstances, the British planning was good enough to carry a project to its successful completion. P.P.Doctorjee decided that the organized Hindu Society of his dreams should have equally well-organized planning and completion of projects. After that day, he always planned for a first-aid vehicle for every Sangha parade. On one occasion, he delayed the commencement float of the parade by 10 minutes so that the first-aid vehicle could join the parade!
