36. Doctorjee's Relentless Pursuit Of Goals:

Once, an utterly exhausted and ailing Doctorjee was visiting the Maharaja of the princely state of Oundh. The Maharaja had arranged a meeting in which Doctorjee was to speak about Sangha. All of us (Pt. Satawalekar was a senior swayamsevak) pressed for the postponement of the speech in view of Doctorjee's poor health. However, Doctorjee did not agree. He said that the program must take place as planned. This surprised everyone present. On that day, Doctorjee's speech was long, and it was so powerful that it held that audience spellbound. We were wondering as to what happened to his fever and exhaustion!

But later, he had to pay a stiff price for pushing and punishing his body to the extreme.
