Once, one of Doctorjee's neighbors, wrote a seething article, against
RSS activities, in a local newspaper. The article demanded answers from RSS
leadership to several accusing questions.
When he read this article,
Doctorjee went to personally meet with his neighbor; since he felt that an
equally seething newspaper reply would result in just counter productive match
of recriminations. The neighbor was surprised to see Doctorjee, and assumed
that Doctorjee had come to have a major "war of words" (quarrel).
He could not have been more
wrong! Doctorjee was very humble and conciliatory. However, he answered every
question raised in the newspaper article clearly and confidently. The neighbor
was fully satisfied. In departing, Doctorjee said: "Please feel free to
speak with me, if you have some more doubts or questions. I live next door to
you. Let us try to meet in person, and understand each other's point of view
better. Let us come closer and be friends, even if our opinions differ".
Doctorjee was an
exceptionally gifted "people-person". He could neutralize even his
worst critics by his humble but firm, truthful and confident answers.
