The lion of Bharatiya
Revolutionary Freedom Fighters, Shri Shyamsunder Chakravarthy, was like a
father to Keshava (Doctorjee). Unfortunately, Shyam Babu had a very large
family, which was perpetually in some financial bind. Keshava did everything to
help Shaym Babu out. He only had to call out "Keshava!". Doctorjee
would understand that money was needed, and he would some how raise in to help
Shyam Babu.
One day, an excellent
prospective bridegroom was being sought for Shyam Babu's daughter, who had
great difficulty in getting a boy to accept her. This boy had said yes but the
question of dowry and marriage expenses loomed heavily ahead. Shyam Babu
left everything to Keshava. Doctorjee worked day and night to raise the
required money, and the marriage was a great success, without loss of face to
Shyam Babu.
Considering the fact that
Doctorjee was himself extremely poor, so much so that he had difficulty in getting
two meals a day, his devotion to get Shyam Babu's daughter married, shows a
unique greatness of his heart.
