In 1934, a pracharak
visited a shakha and then wrote a visit-report. In it he wrote: "I
felt that this shakha was only a "Vyayama Shaala" (Gymnastic Club)
and not a shakha."
When P.P.Doctorjee said:
"Well, the shakha had absolutely no "Bouddhik" or any other
programs. All they did was exercise.”
P.P.Doctorjee gently
admonished the pracharak that he should have then said that the shakha had no
Bouddhik programs. The report, in the way it had been written, would cause pain
and anger if the swayamsevaks from that shakha read it. It is perfectly OK
to criticize, but the criticism should be constructive, so that improvement
(and not anger) is the result.
