12. Steadfastness to Goals:

During my high school years, some twenty boys grouped together, into a 'Tarun Samaj' (youth association) which had patriotic ideals. Several such associations were active in Nagpur in those days. When we went to Doctorjee with a request that he should lead the efforts to bring all of them together, he replied: " I have already accepted the responsibility of editing a newspaper called "Swatantrya" ( Independence). Please let me complete my assignment. Only then I will be able to consider your request".

Though this set-back temporarily disappointed us, it taught us the valuable lesson of being steadfast to our goals.
