In 1906, Abaji lived in
Rampayali, a town 20 miles away from the nearest railway station of Tiroda.
Keshava, then 17, came to visit his uncle often. The train reached Tiroda at
midnight. The deserted dirt road to Rampayali was often full of thorns, snakes
and thieves. However, Keshava fearlessly walked home alone, even in the rainy
season. This shows his determination.
