1. The 1901 Coronation of King Edward VII :

It was being celebrated with fantastic pomp and fireworks.  Keshava, then just a boy of 12, refused to attend the eye-catching show that attracted a crowd of many thousands.  "It is an utter shame to partake in the celebration of coronation of a king who has enslaved our Bharatmata", said Keshava. His patriotism was thus clearly evident at such a young age.
